Trinidad Juices for World Diabetes Day

Global attention has been turned toward the Awareness and Prevention of Diabetes. With more than 170,000 people affected in Trinidad alone, it’s no wonder a brand like Trinidad Juices was invited to participate in the Rotary Club of Princess Town’s dedication to World Diabetes Day. On November 14th they hosted their Tea, Fashion and Fellowship Evening, in aid of children with Diabetes.

Fruta Sorrel Culinary Classics

Fruta Sorrel is a hit!

With Christmas around the corner, everyone is on the lookout for the signature drink of the season – Sorrel! Fruta found the perfect opportunity to introduce its new Fruta Sorrel flavour at Saturday’s Professional Culinary Classics, hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Group of Professional Associations.

Surrounded by an array of exquisite and creative dishes, cooked and served by over 100 local chefs, Fruta Sorrel complemented the festive Christmas aura perfectly. Among the distinguished guests, was President Mr. Maxwell Richards. Cause water is fun – Grab an Oasis!

Never a truer phrase, as sung in the new upbeat radio ad for Oasis water. Oasis was a splash of excitement and energy at Hott 93’s Polar Plunge Anniversary event at the Anchorage on October 24th, for which the brand was also a sponsor.

The event was action packed, centered around the first ever Jet Ski beach race from San Fernando to Anchorage, the M&Ms Polar Plunge – where people dived into a pool of ice to find sunken coins, and the ultimate hot dog eating competition where men and women wolfed down foot long, heavily loaded hot dogs for prizes.  Impossible without Oasis water to wash it down, every competitor had to top off their hefty meal with a 400ml bottle of Oasis water! Connecting the Caribbean and Central America

Dr. Aleem Mohammed sits on a panel of CARICOM entrepreneurs

“To bring together the major entrepreneurs from the Caribbean and Central America, to identify new business and trade opportunities for the region, with the focus on action.”

This was the key objective of the conference on October 20th, of which Dr. Aleem Mohammed of SM Jaleel & Co. Ltd was a panelist, hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce (TTIC), in conjunction with the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) and the Camara de Industria de Guatemala.
