Bad pun notwithstanding, Chubby kicked off the New Year by sponsoring the National Under 10 Football Tournament, an initiative spearheaded by All Sport Promotions to make the National Under 10 Championship an authentic national event. We closed 2012 the same way we started it, with action and adventure. A vibrant range of activities from sports and adventure on the high seas with Fruta and Oasis Water, to the more tempered Orphanage visits by Chubby over the Christmas season helped bring an eventful end to a prosperous year. Andrew Lewis hits the water again with Oasis!
As a continued and proud sponsor of local sailor Andrew Lewis, Oasis Bottled Water is pleased to announce Andrew’s next feat! Coming off his stint at the London 2012 Olympics, Andrew has decided to give himself another challenge, one he terms the Wild Energy Challenge, where he will sail from Pigeon Point, Tobago – to Maracas Bay, Trinidad, on December 16th, 2012.
This will be the first time someone has attempted this 50 mile journey in a 14t Laser Sailboat. He leaves Pigeon Point, Tobago at 9am and hopes to make it into Maracas Bay, Trinidad at 2:30 PM. Come out and support Andrew Lewis and be part of the action at the beach on Sunday! See you there!
