Global attention has been turned toward the Awareness and Prevention of Diabetes. With more than 170,000 people affected in Trinidad alone, it’s no wonder a brand like Trinidad Juices was invited to participate in the Rotary Club of Princess Town’s dedication to World Diabetes Day. On November 14th they hosted their Tea, Fashion and Fellowship Evening, in aid of children with Diabetes.

Miss Petite Jamaica –Lara George (Miss Viva)
On September 5th, Miss Viva, Lara George, copped the title of Miss Petite Fashion Model at the Pulse Caribbean Model Search, at the Wyndham Hotel in Jamaica. Viva Water was proud to sponsor the endearing Lara, one of more than one hundred hopefuls in the competition. Fruta was a burst of colour and life at UWI’s Orientation week, September 1st -11th, 2010. Among the other displays at the St. Augustine Campus, Fruta stood out with its vibrant 20 x 20 presentation, complete with a host, product, branding, fun activities, smiling representatives, and premium giveaways.
The Fruta games were a favourite with the crowd. Scores of onlookers assembled to see students chug Fruta in “drink-up” challenges, and do things like push-ups for prizes. Football has always been an integral and popular pastime throughout the Caribbean. Coming off the successes of Jamaica’s “Reggae Boys” and Trinidad’s “Soca Warriors” in the World Cup, the drive behind nurturing our youth’s talent in this sport has increased.
Oasis Purified Drinking Water continues to recognize the importance of encouraging Trinidad’s Young Athletes by being the title sponsor of the Oasis Youth Pro League for the next 3 years 2010-2013, as well as the TT Pro League. Community Clubs from all over Trinidad and Tobago came together between the months of March and July this year to compete in their designated categories Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18, in the Youth League.
